The Meredith Community Center is a 18,000 square feet building located in Meredith, NH. Designed by Christopher Williams Architects, it provides a variety of spaces including a kitchen, meeting rooms, a game room, a large multi purpose gym/auditorium, locker rooms and offices.
The mechanical system is based on unit ventilators with hydronic heat and DX-cooling. The gym is served by a large air handling vent. Outside air is “demand controlled” and automatically adjusts to the occupancy and activity levels based on CO 2 level in the room.
There are two high efficiency Buderus boilers with lead lag controls. There is primary-secondary pumping with variable frequency drives (VFD’s). All condensing units are also high efficiency. To facilitate scheduling and efficient operation the building has full Direct Digital Controls (DDC).
